2018 Mitsubishi Mirage gets more standard kit

The 2018 Mitsubishi Mirage now offers more for the money.

Mitsubishi is updating its Mirage small car for the 2018 model year. The model year update includes more features for the entry-level Mirage ES.

For 2018 the base model Mirage ES will include as standard a 7-inch touchscreen audio display, Bluetooth connectivity for music and phone calls, rear-view camera and steering wheel-mounted controls for the car's Bluetooth system. The Mirage ES also gains a center console USB port. The 2018 Mirage ES will carry a base price of $13,395.

Other trim levels carry on mostly unchanged, but Mirage SE and GT models do get a newly standard driver's armrest. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay can also be added to Mirage SE and GT models for an additional charge.

"The Mirage offers consumers a new vehicle option that provides the reliability, connectivity and warranty-reassurance that other cars in the segment cannot," said Don Swearingen, executive vice president and chief operating officer, MMNA. "The practical appeal seen in its predecessors is at the core of the 2018 Mirage and we look forward to seeing this model-year continue to build on its steadfast momentum."

The 2018 Mitsubishi Mirage, which comes with a 100,000 miles powertrain warranty, is available now at dealers nationwide.
